Schedule on Headway

Are you someone who finds yourself replaying conversations in your head, worrying about what you said or how you came across? Or maybe you spend a lot of time imagining how future situations might unfold—and all the ways they could go wrong.

If this sounds familiar, you might be feeling stuck in a cycle of overthinking and anxiety that leaves you drained or disconnected from the present.

Anxiety is a normal part of life, but when it starts to take over, it can feel exhausting. Together, we can work on practical tools to quiet the mental noise, build tolerance for uncertainty, and help you feel more grounded and engaged in your daily life.

Me & My Approach

Nice to meet you! I am a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) and Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. While art therapy is my passion, I work collaboratively with clients to find the best methods to support them. I get to know you, your strengths, and your coping style in order to determine how to best manage your symptoms of anxiety. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, Mindfulness, and Psychodynamic (insight-oriented) approaches into my work.

New Parents

The transition into parenthood is a life-altering experience. It's incredibly easy for a parent's entire day to become fixated on unending concerns: Are they eating enough? Is the latch correct? How long should their wake window be? Is this cry normal, or does it mean something is wrong? This constant cycle of interrogation, coupled with the exhaustion of sleep deprivation, can turn into a period of intense anxiety.

Parenthood is, without a doubt, one of the most—if not the most—significant psychological, emotional, and logistical transitions any human can undergo. It involves a complete restructuring of personal identity, priorities, and time.

My commitment is to support parents through this intense and beautiful transformation. Having received advanced training from Postpartum Support International (PSI), I am passionate about providing compassionate, informed, and evidence-based support. I believe that while the inherent responsibility of parenting means anxiety may never fully disappear, it should not be the driving factor that dictates every single decision and overshadows every experience. I want to empower parents to feel grounded, confident, and present with their children.

College Students & Young Adults

Transitioning to college and stepping into the early stages of your career and adulthood is filled with a whirlwind of questions, critical decisions, and evolving self-discovery. During this time, you are grappling with major life choices—from selecting a major or career path to navigating new social dynamics and financial responsibilities—all while simultaneously trying to solidify your sense of identity.

It is common for this period of uncertainty and high-stakes decision-making to trigger anxiety. If you find that this anxiety paralyzes you, making it difficult to move forward with a choice, we can work together to establish and build self-trust.

Part of our therapeutic process will be dedicated to developing a capacity to tolerate uncertainty. This means learning to make informed, thoughtful decisions based on your current values and goals, and then moving forward with the understanding that you can embrace the "not knowing" if your choice is the perfect one. You can build trust in your ability to adapt, learn, and adjust course as needed.
